The ideal profile:

The idealized candidate is most likely to be a hybrid: part visionary/part architect/and part builder. This needs to be a candidate that is clearly passionate about the large opportunity associated with online advertising, and social media. As such, it demands a person that is extremely attracted to the opportunity and is never satisfied with the results.

The ability to apply innovative technology to business problems and execution comes first for this candidate. It is essential for the candidate to have outstanding technical and product sense. From a technical perspective, the candidate must have direct domain experience in the latest web technologies relevant to user experience such as Ajax, Javascript, PHP, Widget containers, HTML/CSS. The candidate must demonstrate first hand experience in building and deploying large traffic websites and related user interaction elements on the web.

The ideal candidate is likely to come from a company involved in web portals, social networking, or related web 2.0 services.

The job:

The Team Leader will lead a team chartered with design, implementation, and delivery of ShareThis web presence including website, widgets, and various other innovative content delivery artifacts in the future. This is a key initiative for the company since it reflects our presence with users; as such garners significant visibility at senior levels.

The position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
