Senior Software Tester in New York

We are looking for a Senior Software Tester who can test the various interconnected applications of an end-to-end SaaS-based solution used in the Online Advertising Industry against the given requirements and against his/her own knowledge-base of testing experience – who also has the ability to create and manage the necessary written documentation that this endeavor entails.

The candidate will be someone who is comfortable working for a small fast-paced start-up company that is aggressively growing and that has changing priorities and expectations based on our clients’ needs.

The candidate will also be someone who possesses strong interpersonal skills and who has the ability to work well with fellow testers, software developers, product managers, project managers, technical support engineers, and c-level executives.

This is an on-site position and we’re interested in local candidates only. Our office is located in New York City, a few blocks from Penn Station.

Engineering Project Manager and SCRUM Master in New York

We are a well-funded, venture-backed startup that provides SaaS solutions for data and audience management in online advertising. We are based in NYC – actually, Midtown West, close to Penn station. Our team is growing, and we’re transitioning from a hybrid ‘let’s get things done’ structure to scrum.

You are an experienced engineering project manager. You love agile and you’ve managed agile teams of 15-20 people for at least 2 years. Your communication skills are superb and you have a strong interest and understanding of technology. You hail from an engineering/software development/product development background and you’ve worked in a technically-focused company before. You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a tech-related discipline.

What we need you to do:
- Facilitate daily SCRUM meetings, sprint planning, estimation meetings, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives.
- Update burndown charts and other metrics that we’ll use to track team progress.
- Be a mentor to other team members as we adopt agile methodologies.

In your cover letter please tell us about your prior experience in internet advertising, your contributions to the agile community, and any relevant professional certifications you hold.
