Office Manager in San Mateo

The Redbeacon Office Manager is initially a part-time (3-4 days/week) role, but may transition to 5-days per week over time as we grow. You will be responsible for managing our downtown San Mateo, CA office. You’ll help keep our growing team functioning, including administering hiring, benefits, and payroll. You’ll be responsible for bookkeeping, vendor management / bill payments, keeping the food and meals flowing, and handling employee expense reimbursements. And undoubtedly, there will be many miscellaneous things from stocking office supplies to helping decorate our new office or planning events that we’ll ask you to help with. What we really want is someone who recognizes that in an internet startup, people wear many hats, and they have the energy, the passion, and the desire to help out any way they can.

The ideal candidate is extremely well-organized, detail oriented, and has a bright can-do attitude. The role is diverse and the candidate should love startup cultures and supporting companies. Please expect occasional spikes in the hours, as is typical of any growing startup.
