      <title>Technical Lead for Ambitous Startup in New York</title>

We are looking for someone with the ability to design and build from scratch, using mostly open source code, a highly scalable, secure database network that is simultaneously accessible by many mobile users. Previous start-up experience is preferred, but the following are crucial:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- a high degree of motivation&lt;br /&gt;- exceptional coding skills (breadth and depth)&lt;br /&gt;- the capability and maturity necessary to manage a team of programmers&lt;br /&gt;- the ability to attract other talent&lt;br /&gt;- long-term leadership potential&lt;br /&gt;- the business acumen to weigh in on all important strategic decisions&lt;br /&gt;- excellent personal references&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is a great opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up. It will be an enormously fun experience, but this is a big job, and we need someone with ambition. Equity, salary and benefits are negotiable, but candidates that are hungry for equity and have a bootstrapping mentality will be a better fit in the initial stage. Our short-term goal is to complete the development of a stripped-down mobile application this summer, before pursuing any additional funding that may be necessary to ramp up in the fall.
